KENTUCKY DAZE

Kentucky Daze" is a gentle monologue based on Kate Pendry's trip to Kentucky, USA, in October 2024 – two weeks before the election that would return Trump to the presidency. Kentucky is a deeply red state, largely populated by Trump supporters. In Kentucky, Kate encounters MAGA fanatics, Amish farmers, and even a member of the Ku Klux Klan. Through the long conversations Pendry had at Lumpy's Diner with Americans who are passionately anti-liberal, one gains insight into why the U.S. chose to give Trump back the power.
What happens when an English liberal, a Klan Member, a MAGA general and a trans Momma meet in a diner in Kentucky and find common ground?
